Who can get Federal Student Aid?

• U.S. Citizens or eligible noncitizens,
• Individuals with a valid Social Security number,
• Individuals who are qualified to obtain postsecondary education by:
  • having a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Certificate;
  • passing an approved ability-to-benefit test;
  • meeting other federally approved standards the State established; or
  • completing a high school education in a homeschool setting approved under State law.

What do you need to complete the application?
